On January 22, 2021, BC introduced a rollout plan for the COVID-19 Vaccine. We have received many questions over the past few weeks from our patients regarding the vaccine, and it is exciting to hear so many of you express enthusiasm and interest.

The BCCDC has compiled a page for specific patient populations.
Immunization schedules are subject to change as we get more information regarding supplies. Family doctor offices do not have access to vaccine administration.
COVID-19 Vaccine Approval in Canada

Many of you may have heard that Health Canada has approved a vaccine for the prevention of COVID-19. The news was published on December 9 2020, and it was a historic decision, as no vaccine in history has been developed at this speed anywhere in the world. COVID has claimed the lives of many, and the promise of a vaccine is providing hope after months of uncertainty.

Please take note the following:
At this time, there is a very limited supply of the vaccine in BC
Patients who qualify will be contacted by Public Health directly
Family doctor offices are not administering the vaccine at this time
We ask for your patience as we all wait for the rollout in the coming months
We will update any news on this website as usual
Please refrain from calling our office to request a vaccine at this time
